Villa Certosa is a charming and authentic Puglian lamia with thick stone walls and vaulted ceilings. This peaceful retreat is perfect for those seeking tranquility in the heart of the Valle d’Itria.
Directions: From Ostuni, take the road toward Martina Franca and turn left at the brown “Certosa” sign after the bend. Follow the quiet dead-end road (residents only) for about 400 meters until you reach the automatic gate of Villa Certosa. Drive past the olive grove toward the shaded parking area near the trampoline and large wooden swing. Once you’ve unpacked, decide whether to dive into the crystal-clear pool, enjoy an aperitif on the front veranda with garden views, or grill fish or meat on the BBQ while others lounge by the pool. At sunset, relax in the deck chairs outside the arched bedroom as the sun dips behind the olive trees.
For ultimate relaxation, book a massage by Stephania under the poolside gazebo or a yoga session on the rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Valle d’Itria. This villa is also child-friendly, with a swing and trampoline for little ones.

Villa Certosa is an authentic Puglian villa (lamia) featuring vaulted ceilings and arched windows, built with thick walls of aged stone. The villa accommodates families or groups of 4-6 people, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and three toilets. For unexpected guests, the spacious sofa with a chaise lounge in the cozy living room provides extra sleeping space.
The kitchen includes a SMEG refrigerator, induction stove, dishwasher, oven, and other conveniences, ensuring you’re well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Guests will also find a collection of wines, games, and books about the area, encouraging them to immerse themselves in the local culture.

Villa Certosa is centrally located along the SP14, the road connecting Ostuni and Martina Franca, just five minutes from Ostuni and 15 minutes from the beach. The villa features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a cozy living room. Outside, enjoy a large covered terrace, veranda, private pool, gazebo, outdoor kitchen with BBQ, swing, trampoline, and a 5000 m² garden.
The villa offers a shaded parking area for two cars, an automatic gate, and a panoramic rooftop terrace. Italian locals describe its location as “privata ma non isolata”—providing ample privacy without feeling isolated. Guests will also find a guide to the best restaurants, beach clubs, shops, and activities in Ostuni and the Valle d’Itria.
AVAILABILITY & PRICES
Weekly bookings run from Saturday check-in at 4 PM to Saturday check-out at 11 AM. Cleaning, towels, bed linens, laundry, and water use are €250 per week, payable directly to Martina, your check-in host. Basic necessities such as water, coffee, and tea are provided; please replenish what you use. Buon divertimento!

The villa is just a five-minute drive from Ostuni, while the Adriatic harbor of Villanova and beaches are 15 minutes away. Torre Canne and its sandy beaches are a 20-minute drive.
FLIGHTS: The nearest major airport is Bari, about 1 hour and 15 minutes by car. Brindisi Airport is smaller and closer, just 35 minutes from Villa Certosa. Ostuni is also accessible by train, though the station is located a short drive from the city center. From Ostuni’s center, the villa is a five-minute drive.
